What can I include?
At Little A Jewellery, I can use a range of special keepsakes to create a piece of jewellery that is personal to you.
Whether it’s ashes from someone you love, a little fur from your much-loved pet, breast milk from a special chapter of motherhood or a small piece of clothing that brings back precious memories. I’ll treat everything you send me with care and respect.
If you’re not sure if something can be used, please get in touch. I’m always happy to have a chat and see what we can do.
Ashes
A beautiful and personal way to keep someone close.
A small amount of ashes can be incorporated into your jewellery using resin. You can choose whether you’d like the ashes to be softly blended into the piece or a little more visible.
Hair
Sometimes something as small as a little lock of hair can mean so much.
Hair can be carefully placed into your jewellery as a special reminder of a loved one, your child or a precious moment in your life.
Fur
Because our pets are family too. 🐾
A little of your pet’s fur can be included in your jewellery, giving you a special way to keep a little piece of them close.
Not sure if I can use something?
Breast Milk
A special way to preserve a little part of your breastfeeding journey.
Your breast milk is carefully prepared before being incorporated into your jewellery, creating a lasting keepsake of such a precious time.
Umbilical Cord
A beautiful way to preserve a tiny part of those very early days.
Small pieces of umbilical cord can be incorporated into jewellery as a lasting reminder of your baby’s arrival and the beginning of your journey together.
Fabric & Materials
Small pieces of fabric can hold so many memories.
This could be a piece of baby clothing, something belonging to someone you’ve lost, or material from a favourite outfit.
If you have something else in mind, just ask. We can have a chat about whether it would be suitable for your jewellery.
Don’t worry.
If you have something special that isn’t listed above, please get in touch before placing your order.
I’d much rather have a chat with you and see what’s possible than have you wondering whether I can help.
